Big Sky Arts Festival
For more than 25 years, the Big Sky Country Fair has offered music and merriment to locals and visitors alike in Big Sky, Montana. The day-long event held every August in Big Sky features a 5K run, community parade, farmer's market, art vendors and entertainment for children and adults.
The Big Sky County Fair brings out the unique spirit of this magical mountain town, set like a jewel beneath Lone Peak in Big Sky, Montana. Much like the town itself, the Fair is a multidimensional occasion. Athletes get their fix with a morning 5K run and townspeople show up to support the floats and groups that march in the community parade. Booths full of artists' wares and Western Art are sure to entice passersby, while local food vendors ensure that no one leaves the Fair hungry. Children's activities in past years have included carnival games and jump houses, but the fun is not just for the kids. Live music lasts through the evening to the delight of young and old. Admission is free to the Big Sky Country Fair, a fundraiser for the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce. The Fair is held at the Big Sky Community Park.
