There's a lot of good fun to be had at the Big Sky Chili Cook Off! Enter your favorite chili recipe for a chance to win prizes. Enjoy the activities, meet new friends and relax, all in the Big Sky country.

Overview: The annual Big Sky Chili Cook Off is a treat for young and old. You can participate by entering your chili recipe in hopes of carting off the big prize. Bring all your friends and have them vote for your chili. Each year 30 contestants enter their famous chili recipes to compete for the title of "Best Chili in Big Sky." Dust off your cowboy boots and join us for an evening of food, music and fun!

When: Held in late August every year, the mountain breeze and chili are a great combination!

Where: The Big Sky Chili Cook Off is typically held in August at the Half Moon Saloon, located on US Highway 191 two miles south of the Big Sky turnoff.

Fees: There is a entrance fee for festival attendees. See the Big Sky Art Council for contest fees.

Details: Kids Activities, Fun Games and a Chicken-Wing-Eating contest as well as a Beer Garden and live music. What more could you ask for?
