- Dress in your best. Dirtbag best that is.
- Join us for the race on the slopes at Big SKy Resort. The Dirtbag King and Queen will be crowned at the ball.
- A March spring skiing festival of fun.
Overview: It's great fun to get out on the slopes at Big Sky in Montana, dressed up in a wild and crazy outfit, the wildest one you can conjure up, and vie for being the winner at the Dirtbag Ball. Yes, Dirtbag Day is one filled with laughter and fun for all ages.
When: This mid March festival is the perfect segway to spring skiing.
Where: Big Sky resort hosts the race and parade while Bucks T-4 puts on the Dirt Bag King and Queen Coronation and dance.
Fees: Cost varies for entry fees to the dance.
Details: The costumes aren't the only fun presented. There's a competition called Powder 8 to take part in, and a ton of bragging goes to the winner along with prizes and excitement. In the evening there's more. The Dirtbag Ball kicks off with live entertainment and ends with the crowning of the Dirt Bag King and Dirt Bag Queen. Anyone can win, so it's a free-for-all to wear the "dirtbagiest" costume. The Big Sky ski patrol has the honor of crowning the winners.
