Overview
Surrounded by three million acres of the Beaverhead National Forest, Ennis is a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Within these pristine acres lie the Madison Range, the Gravelly Range, and the Tobacco Root Mountains. The combination of forested mountains along with access to the beautiful Madison River, yields exceptional opportunities for recreating and especially fishing. The uncrowded trails are a favorite with visitors, also the pleasure of sightseeing in Ennis, with its Old West atmosphere and small town friendliness.
Location
Ennis, Montana lies in the southwestern corner of the state, in Madison Valley. A small, authentic western town, Ennis MT is known primarily for its fly-fishing. An easy drive north toward Bozeman and then southwest will have you in Ennis in an approximately 2 hours.

Getting Here
To get to Big Sky from Ennis head north on US Highway 287. At Norris take US Highway 191/ Wyoming Route 84 east. At the junction of Highway 191 and Wyoming Route 84 stay on Highway 191 and head south to Big Sky.
At Norris, take the time to stop and check out the great hot springs.
