Bridger Bowl Ski Area

Bridger Bowl Ski Area - based in Bozeman, Montana about 90 minutes from Big Sky - is flanked by two large bowls to the North and South. Most of the area offers wide open terrain with a variety of landscapes including long slopes, glades, chutes, gullies in addition to other smaller bowls.

Bridger Bowl offers a wide variety of skiing for all capabilities. The mountain rated as 25% beginner, 35% intermediate, 30% advanced and 10% extreme. The "Ridge" provides great challenges for the expert skier and draws many to its chutes and powder each season. In order to access this extreme skiing mecca, riders must hike up 400 vertical feet above the Bridger Lift. You must have an avalanche transceiver, shovel, partner and great knowledge of the terrain. The "Ridge" provides some of the most extreme skiing withing a ski area boundary in the Nation.

SUMMER

The heart of Summer at Bridger Bowl is the Jim Bridger Base Lodge and the Deer Park Chalet, located at mid-mountain. Starting in mid-June and ending in September, these facilities are available for weddings, meetings, banquets and other special events.

Don't miss out on the number of recreational opportunities that await you in the surrounding Bridger Mountain Range. Items on the adventure menu include: wildlife viewing, blue ribbon fly fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, camping, hiking, mountain and road biking and much more. DIRECTIONS

Bridger Bowl is located only 20 minutes north of Bozeman on Highway 86. The turn off to Bridger is near the 16 mile marker and will be located on the left-hand side of the road coming from Bozeman. The summer road continues up the mountain to Deer Park Chalet just north of the Jim Bridger Lodge in the base area.
