Several outfitters in the Big Sky, Montana and West Yellowstone areas provide a variety of snowcoach tours into Yellowstone National Park.  They all share the same focus to offer each client with a unique winter experience.  You will have opportunity to view the abundant wildlife along the Madison and Firehole rivers and tour on skis or snowshoes around the famous Geyser Basins.  The more advanced tours provide a closer look at Yellowstone, with views of waterfalls and geothermal features accessible only to skiers and snowshoers.

A naturalist guide accompanies each tour and provides you with the chance to learn more about Yellowstone's diverse web of life, its thermal features geology and history.  Some tour guides are also the snowcoach drivers, and are competent and knowledgeable guides and offer great insight into this magical place.

The snowcoach offers the convenience of viewing the natural wonders while just sitting back and relaxing in an enclosed heated cab while your guide delivers park information as you cruise along the scenic routes.  These memorable and unique tours are offered mid-December through mid-March.
