Summer Activities for Families

• Big Sky Resort Base Area:
  Big Sky Mountain Village goes off with activities in the summer months. Take your pick from mini golf, a giant swing, zip line, bungee trampoline, mountain biking, disc golf, a climbing wall, and scenic chairlift rides.
• Hiking:
  Try an easy hike out to Ousel Falls.
• Canoeing:
  Lake Levinsky, near Big Sky Mountain Village offers boat rentals in the summer.
• Whitewater Rafting:
  A super fun activity for the whole family in the heat of the summer, raft a 13 mile whitewater section of the Gallatin River.
• Horseback Riding
  Take the kids horseback riding through the Gallatin National Forest.

Winter Activities for Families

• Skiing and Snowboarding:
  Big Sky and Moonlight Basin offer the Biggest Skiing in America.
• Snowshoeing:
  Snowshoeing tours are available at both resorts. Or rent a pair and explore on your own.
• Zipline Ride:
  The Big Sky Resort zipline is open during the winter season!
